The Peace & Love Festival
Join us in the Dolomites, July 2–4, 2027.
Less wedding, more festival
Mountain air, long tables, hikes, games, and dancing till late — with a ceremony in the middle. Friday & Saturday are the main days. Sunday is a slow goodbye.
Our wedding is untraditional — like us. Expect an open-air, picnic-style celebration (weather permitting).
Made to Be Shared
A day of picnics, shared tables, music, games, and dancing — all set against the backdrop of the Dolomites. Wander, explore, eat, drink, and celebrate with us from afternoon into the night. A celebration designed to feel effortless, intimate, and full of life.
No rules, just good vibes.

Amy & Luis
A few words about us
ZHUO + BENASSI = THE ZENASSI’S
In May 2023, Amy and Luis matched on Hinge, met in Berlin 1 month later after daily texting and calling, and decided within a week to continue being together 💘
A core value that they share is multiculturalism; learning from experiencing the world, and working hard to make it a better place. Amy is Taiwanese-Canadian, and Luis Bolivian-Italian, so naturally they would choose South Africa as their home base 😂
While spending months together in Berlin, Barcelona, New York, Taipei, Vancouver, Bergamo, and Cape Town over the years, we are so lucky to have built a global community of amazing people who we can’t wait to celebrate together with. It’s only the beginning of a beautiful life that we all share and inspire each other with 🌟
In May this year, we got officially engaged by separately proposing to each other in unique ways. Our journey has been touched by each and every one of you, and we are so grateful for your friendship, your support, and your love for us 💍
Marriage is important to us not as a religious or traditional act, but rather a symbol of the immense courage, vulnerability, and perseverance it takes to build a life and a family with one person for your entire life. We see how each decade it becomes more meaningful and how love can grow and transform if you let it ❤️
The wedding, on the other hand, is really just the best excuse to gather everyone we love for the most fun and beautiful weekend possible. We know it’s a LOT to ask to travel all the way and stay multiple days in the mountains with us, so truly know that we will find other ways to spend quality time together if it’s not possible this time around 🥳
XOXO Hugs from Amy & Luis 👰🏻♀️🤵🏻

Dress guidance
Friday
Colorful and free-spirited — think flowing fabrics, bold prints, and a little flower-power. Dress like it's 1969 in the mountains.
📌 Pinterest inspirationCeremony (Saturday)
Colorful and comfortable — this is a garden celebration, not a formal affair. Wear what makes you feel good.
📌 Pinterest inspirationSaturday Night
Dancing shoes, plus something warm — mountain evenings cool down fast.
📌 Pinterest inspirationDolomiti di Brenta
The Brenta Dolomites rise dramatically above Madonna di Campiglio, one of the most striking corners of the Italian Alps. We'll be based at TH Campiglio, a mountain resort right at the foot of the peaks.
What's included
TH Campiglio has everything you need for a proper mountain weekend — no need to leave the grounds if you don't want to.
On the road
2–4 hours from airport to Madonna di Campiglio, depending on route and traffic.
| Getting around | Details |
|---|---|
| Rental car | Hertz likely works for non-EU licenses without an IDP — confirm with the provider before booking. Editable |
| Shuttle | Hotel airport shuttle info coming soon. TBD |
| Taxi / rideshare | Limited locally — don't rely on Uber. |
| Carpool | Share your airport & flight time in the RSVP form — we'll help match you up. |
Things to do
Come a few days early — the Brenta Dolomites reward a slower visit, and Lake Garda is close enough for a day trip.
Hiking
Trails for every level start right from Madonna di Campiglio, from gentle valley walks to full alpine routes through the Brenta Dolomites.
Biking
Road and mountain biking through pine forests and alpine meadows, for casual riders and serious climbers alike.
Golf
TH Campiglio's own course sits right at the venue — mountain views on every hole.
Lake Garda
About two hours south — lakeside towns, swimming, and long lunches if you want a change of scenery.
What to expect
A few honest heads-ups, so you know exactly what kind of weekend you're walking into.
- It's not a religious or legal ceremony — just us, our people, and a meadow.
- The whole wedding happens in one location — no shuttling between venues.
- It's not a seated meal — think long tables, picnic-style, help yourself.
- It's a bilingual wedding — expect both English and Italian throughout the weekend.
- Dress comfortably for nature — expect to run around and sit on the ground.
- Bring a sweater for the evening — mountain air cools down fast after sunset.
- Bring an umbrella, just in case.
- Want to stay longer at the hotel? Let us know — we can ask about a discount code.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a wedding or a festival?
Both. It's our wedding, designed as an intimate two-day festival, with a ceremony right in the middle of the celebrations.
Which events are essential?
Saturday's ceremony and evening celebration are the heart of it. Everything else is warmly encouraged but optional.
Can I attend only part of the weekend?
Yes — tell us which days work for you in the RSVP form.
What does the €250 ticket include?
Accommodation and food for the weekend. It doesn't cover travel to Italy or any pre-trip extension.
Are children invited?
Yes, very much — kids are welcome at every part of the weekend.
Will childcare be available?
Yes. A nanny and playground will be onsite; tell us your needs in the RSVP form.
Can grandparents attend?
Of course — grandparents are welcome and celebrated.
What should I wear?
See the Dress Guidance section — mountain festive, colorful, layered.
What weather should I expect?
Alpine summer — warm days, cool evenings, occasional quick changes. More details soon.
Do I need to rent a car?
It's the easiest way to get around — see Location & Travel.
Are taxis or Uber available?
Ride-sharing is limited locally; please don't rely on Uber. Renting a car or joining a carpool works best.
Can you help arrange carpools?
Yes — share your airport, flight time, and free seats in the RSVP form and we'll help match people up.
Which airport should I use?
Milan Malpensa, Bergamo (Ryanair only), Verona, or Venice — all roughly two to four hours from the venue.
Where will I stay?
TH Campiglio is our main venue and accommodation. Rooms are limited, so RSVP early.
Can I arrive early?
Yes — see Things to Do for hiking, biking, golf, and Lake Garda.
Are additional wedding gifts allowed?
No gifts, please. Your presence really is the present.
What happens if the ticket cost is difficult for me?
Tell Amy or Luis privately. We'd rather have you there and will find a way.
